IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU ATTEND

Please take a moment to read the information below before attending your Event. class, retreat or healing with Josephine. Thank you.

  • Contraindications 

  • What you need to bring with you

  • The event's location and parking details.

Please read this fully, as equipment isn't provided and your health is Josephine's number 1 priority

 

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS | SOUND HEALING

​

 

The following people should consult their doctor before the first use of sound healing:

    •       People with carotid stenosis (prior to application in the area of the carotid artery/larynx)

    •       People with cardiac pacemakers, artificial heart valves, or cardiac arrhythmias

    •       People with a stent

    •       People with a shunt

    •       People with a deep brain stimulation device (DBS)

    •       People with epilepsy

    •       Pregnant women

please notify Josephine if you have:

    •       implants (or near implants until they have completely healed)

    •       screws

    •       artificial joints

    •       inflamed joints and veins

    •       the skin, in the case of inflammatory skin disorders

    •       weeping eczema

    •       diseased veins

    •       pregnant

    +      sensory sensitive autism

 

Treatment should not commence until three days after injury at the earliest for:

    •       Whiplash

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Arthritis

  • inflamed joints and veins

  • Back pain or injury

  • Pregnant

WHAT TO BRING

​

GROUP SOUNDBATH

  • Bring plenty of blankets/pillows to rest on. A mat, eye mask/bag, blanket, pillow. When you come to a soundbath, your body will get heavier, and it’s important you are fully supported and warm to gain the most from the experience.

  • Please arrive with plenty of time to spare, I can’t let late arrivals in due to the nature of the event.

  • If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

  • Please bring water with you, and a snack for afterwards.

YOGA & SOUNDBATH EVENT / HALF DAY

  • Please bring the equipment listed above.

  • You will also need clothes you can move in comfortably. and layers for relaxation.

  • Please bring a yoga mat and any props you might need, if you attending a yoga class at Josephine's home studio or a session the the YURT at Let's retreat. Yoga equipment and mats are provided. 

  • Please bring water with you, and a snack for afterwards.   

 

CEREMONY AND 1-2-1 INTEGRAL SOUND HEALING

  • All props and mats are provided in Josephine's home studio

YOGA CLASS

  • All props and mats are provided in Josephine's home studio

  • Come in clothes you can move in.

VENUES

For all events, retreats and sessions, doors open 15 minutes prior to start time. I am not able to let late arrivals into group Soundbaths due to the nature of the event.

WORTHING HOME STUDIO

Parking is free on the road near by.  Please do not park directly in front of the block of flats. Please note there are two flights of stairs to the studio. Please arrive at the event with time to spare.

HALF DAY RETREATS AND DAY RETREATS

LOCATION: THE YURT AT LET'S RETREAT

INFORMATION: 

Please be aware that the turning comes up quickly from the A27, keep an eye out for a bright green sign that says ‘Alpha Training’. I would strongly suggest using your sat nav and slowing down a lot before the turning.

 

Once driving down the lane, you’ll keep going towards the yurts for 2 minutes, you’ll see a grey ’no access’ sign, please keep on going until you see a small sign for the yurts.

 

Parking has been moved to the car park behind the yurts on the left hand side, it is tight, so please be mindful of leaving space. Some cars might be blocked in, but don’t worry, everyone will leave at the same time to ensure you can leave with ease. Once parked PLEASE WALK DOWN THE LANE AND TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE OF THE YURTS AND USE THE PATH WITH CHIPPINGS. If light levels are low PLEASE USE A TORCH OR A PHONE LIGHT. Do not try to cut through other entrances. Thank you!
